John Graydon Announced.

Mrs. William Harrison Stanage
and Mrs. Henry Stanage have cards out for Saturday afternoon, November
12, from 3 to 6, to meet Mrs. George Edward Mills.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Howard
Hinkle arrived from the East Sunday, just in time to take in Guilmant’s
recital at Music Hall.
The engagement of Miss
Mary Kellogg and Mr. John Graydon has been announced. Miss
Kellogg
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Kellogg, a brillan girl and a
very
popular one. She is a fine horsewoman and an enthusiastic
golfer.
Mr. Graydon is a Harvard man and a member of the Riding and Art clubs.
Mrs. Milton McRae gave
a brilliant reception to several hundred guests Monday in honor of Mrs.
John Leroy Taylor, who formerly lived here and has hosts of friends
here.
The Halloween party
which the Business club of the Y. W. C. A. will give to-night promises
to give to-night promises to be a great success. The proceeds are
to go to the Building fund.
Mrs. F. G. Cross and
Mrs. Frank Bradley Cross gave a large and delightful reception Friday
and
Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Bradford Shinkle, Mrs. Dan Hemingray,
Mrs.
Samuel Long, Mrs. J. Gordon Taylor and the Misses Mitchell assisted.
Mrs. Graydon gave a
charming afternoon tea on Friday in honor of her daughter’s guest, Miss
Dwight of Boston, Mrs. Tom Graydon, Mrs. Jule Graydon and Miss
Jean
Maxwell assisted.
Mr. and Mrs. John Warrington
will introduce their daughter, Miss Florence Bragg, on November 26, at
a large reception.
Mrs. Seely [name unclear]
and her daughters are expected home to-day.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Shaefer and family leave Tuesday to spend the winter in California.
